I was just thinking the other day that we needed a new zombie movie, because we simply haven’t had enough zombie movies released since Zack Snyder’s DAWN OF THE DEAD. So what’s ZMD all about? Check it:
[ZMD] revolves around a government weapons program that drops photosensitive zombies into war zones at night to destroy the enemy population. When one of these zombies somehow escapes in the Middle East, a team of elite soldiers must enter hostile territory to stop a growing zombie army.
While I was being facetious earlier about needing another freakin’ zombie movie, this one actually sounds pretty flippin’ cool. At least it’s a new take on the zombie genre that we really haven’t seen before, so it’ll seem fresh.
