Zodiac Gets Oldman

Seems like the casting news for Warner Bros. true crime serial killer flick ZODIAC is coming out faster than a young boy’s jimmy on prom night when his date says yes. Now pressed into service with an already stellar cast is Gary Oldman. He will portray lawyer Melvin Belli.

According to Variety, Belli, the San
Francisco-based “King of Torts,” received a letter from the Zodiac in 1969 in which the killer wished the attorney a Merry Christmas and said he hoped to retain enough self-control not to claim a ninth and 10th victim.

Um, can we all say f*ckin’ creepy?

Here’s hoping they get a shooting script that is worthy of the immense front of the lens talent this pic has rustled up.
