Got an update on this weeks edition
of TCM Underground for all you die hard fans. This weeks flick will be Brian
DePalma’s 1973 thriller
SISTERS.
The film revolves around a
journalist (Jennifer Salt) who is neighbors to a set of Siamese separated
sisters (Margot Kidder). One of the sister’s brings a man home, who the
journalist later witness’ being murdered in the apartment. When she calls
the police and discovers that no evidence was left behind, she begins to
investigate on her own with the help of a private investigator (Charles Durning).
I’ve included some clips below, one
being a trailer for the film, the other an intro of the film by Rob Zombie. The
film looks pretty cool, and to think that the same guy who MISSION IMPOSSIBLE
and THE UNTOUCHABLES did such a bizarre thriller is awesome.
