How we managed to miss a movie which combines two of our most favorite things in the whole wide world – zombies and strippers – into one glorious film, ZOMBIE STRIPPERS, especially one which stars Jenna Jameson and Robert Englund, is beyond our comprehension but, luckily, a kind soul took pity on our shameful ignorance and sent us the below poster and stills.
Not that it’s terribly necessary but the story centers on a virus which hits a strip club owned by Englund and turns his strippers into undead creatures. When he notices he can make some mad cash from this, he decides to exploit his zombie strippers and encourages his other girls to turn, though they’re understandably reluctant given the fact that there’s no turning back after being zombified. And, like the poster says, they’ll dance for a fee but devour you for free. Poetry. Absolute poetry.
There’s gotta be some deliciously cheesy fun to be had as not only is this film studio-based (Sony) but it’s getting a theatrical release on April 18th. Click through for the official site.
