What would you do if your family and friends turned into Zombies? So asks the opening of the teaser trailer for the upcoming UK indie ZOMBIES OF THE NIGHT (see it below). I’m sure many of you have pondered this question before, but exactly how deeply have your thoughts gone? Many zombie flicks have presented an answer, but few have actually taken a moment at the beginning to first ask the actual query. I don’t know, I just find that interesting.
Anyways, perhaps you’d handle things in the same manner as “Tom”, a carefree guy, living in his parents’ caravan in Devon, fights for his survival! ‘In just the last few hours, there have been serious reports concerning the recent epidemic of foot and mouth. Disturbing eye witness accounts have explained how the disease is now possibly airborne, and could have mutated in to a deadly human virus.
Holy shit! Foot and Mouth disease! Now there’s a “zombie outbreak” explanation I haven’t heard before. From the pic up top, it certainly looks like one harsh disease. Hopefully director Stuart Brennan and writer Leo McKellen have concocted one kick-ass cure. Their cast includes Joe Bone, James Hayward, India Cook, Helena Martin, and Eleanor James.
