Oh this is priceless. After months and months of wanking about with TYRANNOSAURUS REX, the Rob Zombie feature that so far has been all promo artwork and no buzz, I read it hasn’t even been friggin’ written yet! No, not kidding. Blabbermouth.net informs us that in an interview with the rocker/director on Fangoria Radio it is revealed that this project isn’t even close to moving forward.
Zombie: “I haven’t even written the script yet. All I have is one sentence.”
He went on to say its about “the biggest bad-ass fighting even badder-ass motherfuckers.”
Good to know. I’m sure Dimension is thrilled they provided Zombie with an August ’09 release date eons ago. I realize the man is busy with, among other things, his animated feature THE HAUNTED WORLD OF EL SUPERBEASTO, but this has been like a cocktease from an ugly chick. You aren’t really interested, but now that you find out that it was all bullshite, you’re a little disappointed… Now its time to get your aggression out on something…
Ah well, I’m sure we can expect more artwork in the near future, that’ll have to do until it’s announced that Sheri Moon, Ken Foree, and Sid Haig have all joined the cast…
