Boy oh boy, it’s stories like these that truly plaster a perma-grin on my ugly mug. I mean, when you have a tattered, blood drenched hottie wielding a knife almost as large as herself – what more do you really need?

Am I wrong?

Well, that we certainly have in the first production still from Ben Ketai’s 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: DARK DAYS, which looks to light up theaters sometime next year. Replacing the talented Melissa George as lead character Stella Olemaun is Kiele Sanchez (INSANITARIUM, A PERFECT GETAWAY), who is depicted in the photo above as a much-maligned hottie in need of a big ass knife sharpener. Or a killer to gorily fell!

Either way you blend it, DARK DAYS resumes when:

After surviving the incidents in Barrow, Alaska, Stella Olemaun relocates to Los Angeles, where she intentionally attracts the attention of the local vampire population in order to avenge the death of her husband, Eben.

Dark days of L.A., huh? What else is new?

Joining Sanchez in the cast is Diora Baird, Mia Kirshner, Harold Perrineau, Monique Ganderton, Rhys Coiro, Ben Cotton and Troy Ruptash.

Keep abreast of this story, because with production now in full effect, we could have a lot more soon!
