21, now Money

JoBloJoBlo

Peter Steinfeld (21) will adapt the lottery scam memoir “Money for Nothing” for Warner Independent Pictures. The book will tell the sordid tale of a dude who sells money to lottery winners in exchange for a portion of their future lottery payments. I’m not sure exactly how that makes you rich, but then again I never understood why Sean Connery went straight to his daughter’s house in a stolen Hummer in THE ROCK either. Didn’t stop me enjoying that film though.

Apart from it being a little long and its inclusion of what I’m pretty sure is the worst possible explanation of the Monty Hall Paradox, I enjoyed 21 for the most part. Plus, everyone loves a movie about financial scams, so yeah, color me intrigued.
