The last time we updated you with Morgan J. Freeman’s revenge flick HOMECOMING, it was via The Arrow’s not so forgiving review way back in July of last year. Well, since the flick finally premieres on DVD in the U.S. on April 20th, we’ve got 4, count ’em…4 new clips below for you to check out!
Written by Katie L. Fetting, starring Mischa Barton and Jessica Stroupe, HOMECOMING goes a little like this:
Mike was the star quarterback in a blue-collar small town where football is everything. After receiving a scholarship to Northwestern University, he returns home over Christmas break and everyone is surprised to see him with a new girlfriend, Elizabeth, a pretty rich girl from Chicago. No one is more shocked than Mike’s homecoming queen ex-girlfriend, Shelby, who desperately wants Elizabeth out of the picture. After a freak car accident leaves an injured Elizabeth at the mercy of Shelby, all hell breaks loose as Shelby does everything it takes to get Mike back.
The first clip, entitled “Phone Ain’t Working,” we see Jessica Stroup’s character desperately trY to call out for help, but is cutoff by a ruthless Mischa Barton.
Clip two, labeled “Is This What You Want,” watch Mischa go bat-balls crazy as she threatens two captives at gunpoint.
Up third is “I’m No Angel,” a clip where Mischa’s character tries to warn Stroup’s about her boyfriend’s parents.
And lastly there’s “Does this Hurt?” easily my favorite clip that has shades of Kathy Bates in MISERY. ‘Nuff said!
Matt Long, Michael Landes, Allen Williamson, Joshua Elijah Reese, Nick Pasqual, Joe Forgione and Alex Hooper are a few players who round out the cast.
