Further mulling over this year’s slate of summer flicks for JoBlo’s annual box-office prediction contest, I can’t help but consider Christopher Nolan’s dream filching brain-buster INCEPTION among the top. Put simply, it’s gotta be among my top three most anticipated flicks of the year, in or out of genre. And now that the flick’s a little under 3 months from release (July 16th), a foursome of fresh stills have been released. Catch a glimpse underneath!
While still shrouded in relative mystery, INCEPTION stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a specialist in the new branch of corporate espionage — he’s a dream thief who plucks secrets from the minds of tycoons after pumping them full of drugs and hooking them up to a mysterious contraption. The problem, though, is the land of nod can be volatile — as can Leonardo DiCaprio’s character, Dom Cobb, who is a wounded dreamer after the loss of his beloved wife.
And here Fred Krueger thought he had a monopoly on dreams!
As seen in the stills above and below, INCEPTION also stars Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon Levitt, as well as Ken Watanabe, Cillian Murphy, Michael Caine, Marion Cotillard, Tom Hardy, Tom Berenger, Lukas Haas and Dileep Rao.
