Jason Eisener, Fede Alvarez, and Simon Barrett team up for new film

Fede Alvarez

In what amounts to the assembling of a modern genre movie "Dream Team", HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN director Jason Eisener, EVIL DEAD 2013 / DON'T BREATHE's Fede Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues, and YOU'RE NEXT / THE GUEST screenwriter Simon Barrett are joining forces for a secretive new project.

Eisener will be directing a film scripted by Barrett and produced by Alvarez and Sayagues through their company Bad Hombre.

I don't really need to know anything more than that. I became hyped as soon as I saw those names put together and would see a movie from this group of collaborators regardless of genre or story.

It's a good thing I don't need more information, because they're not sharing much at this time. The story is being kept under wraps, but the project is said to be a "techno thriller". Sure, fine, I'll take it.

This untitled techno thriller will be executive produced by Jay Basu and Good Universe's Nathan Kahane, Joe Drake, and Erin Westerman.

We'll keep you updated as we learn more about this project – hopefully things like the title and synopsis.
