Checkmate! Against all odds and some heavy competition, Netflix's The Queen's Gambit has become THE thing to watch right now, with it recently making headlines as the streamer's most-watched limited series ever. And now, it looks like Nielsen, with their U.S streaming rankings, is giving us a little context in how it matches up with some of its competition. According to the report, excerpted by Deadline, over the week of October 26th to November 1st, the show was the top-ranked series streaming – limited, scripted or otherwise. It even topped Disney+ and the return of The Mandalorian, although that streamer should be happy as it's their first appearance on the chart since Nielsen started measuring streamers.

The rest of the chart is as follows:

1. The Queen’s Gambit
2. The Office
3. The Mandalorian
4. Schitt’s Creek
5. Holidate
6. Grey’s Anatomy
7. Criminal Minds
8. NCIS
9. The Haunting of Bly Manor
10. Great British Baking Show

Pretty impressive, no? I have to say, I wasn't sure Scott Frank's series, starring Anya Taylor Joy would live up to the hype, but it's very compelling, and easily one of the best things I've as far as TV goes this season. I'm willing to bet George Miller got an early look at the show and that's what clinched the role of Furiosa in his upcoming prequel for her.
