LEGO…meet Nintendo!

In an announcement that’s sure to get retro gamers' hearts a-flutter, Nintendo officially unveiled an all-new collaboration with LEGO called "The LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System set”! What is it you ask? It’s a replica of an old NES with a retro TV it plugs into. And yeah, you guessed it, you build the whole thing out of LEGO – 2646 pieces to be exact. Making the whole thing even cooler, the TV has a handle on the side that manipulates an 8-bit Super Mario figure. But wait, how does that work? Check it out below:

Looks pretty cool, right? It gets even cooler – apparently when you crank the handle the original Super Mario theme plays. I NEED THIS! The set is gonna retail for about $229.99 and is due out August 1st. And, of course, you can pre-order it at the official LEGO site.
