Following the conclusion of the epic and terrifying battle with the Army of the Dead, the survivors of the Battle of Winterfell are left to bury their fallen heroes and plan their next move. HBO has released a handful of new photos from the next episode of Game of Thrones which gives us a little taste of what to expect, including a mass funeral at Winterfell, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Drogon, a fleet of Targaryen ships, and Cersei (Lena Headey) and Euron (Pilou Asbæk) enjoying the view.

As most of the pre-release material for the final season of Game of Thrones has dealt with building towards the battle with the Army of the Dead, it's somewhat refreshing to go into these final three episodes not knowing much about how it will play out. There's certainly a lot of fallout to deal with in the next episode, including Daenerys' reaction to Jon Snow's (Kit Harington) reveal of his true origins.

Game of Thrones returns to HBO on May 5th.
