After TERMINATOR: SALVATION and TERMINATOR: GENISYS, the franchise is now on its third attempt at semi-rebooting the series, but with James Cameron back in the fold for the first time since TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY, you might be allowed to let your expectations rise just a little. Also returning to the franchise for her first on-screen appearance since the second film is Sarah Connor herself, Linda Hamilton. It happens to be Hamilton's birthday today and her TERMINATOR co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger took to Twitter to wish the actress a happy birthday, while also providing a small glimpse at what their reunion in TERMINATOR 6 could look like.

A bearded Terminator? I like it. It's also a little surreal seeing the two of them together, not quite in character mind you, but it definitely tugs at the ol' heartstrings. Production on TERMINATOR 6, which is being helmed by DEADPOOL director Tim Miller, has been underway since June and the film stars Mackenzie Davis (BLADE RUNNER 2049), Gabriel Luna (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Natalia Reyes (BIRDS OF PASSAGE), and Diego Boneta (THE TITAN) in addition to Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton. Although the latter two are clearly the big draw, it's been said that Natalia Reyes will actually be playing the main role in the film. Her character, Dani, is a "a young woman from a working class neighborhood in Mexico City who finds herself in the battle between humans and machines."
TERMINATOR 6, or whatever it ends up being called, will hit theaters on November 15, 2019.
