8 festively psychedelic character posters from Gringo arrive online

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Amazon Studios and STXfilms have released a series of explosively-colored character posters for GRINGO, the Nash Edgerton-directed action comedy starring an ensemble cast of Hollywood greats. You can check out the posters for yourself below.

Arriving in theaters March 9th, GRINGO is set to be staged as a dark comedy mixed with white-knuckle action and dramatic intrigue, which explores a battle of survival for businessman Harold Soyinka (David Oyelowo), when he finds himself crossing the line from law-abiding citizen to wanted criminal.

In addition to Oyelowo, the outrageous weed comedy stars Charlize Theron (ATOMIC BLONDE), Joel Edgerton (BRIGHT), Amanda Seyfried (MEAN GIRLS), Thandie Newton (CRASH), Sharlto Copley (DISTRICT 9), Marco Antonio Aguirre (EL CHAPO) and Diego Catano (NARCOS). Written by Anthony Tambakis and Matt Stone, GRINGO looks to entertain audiences by showcasing a man in-over-his-head, hoping to escape a series of madcap situations, wherein anyone he meets is looking to take him out.

Mmm, I may very well have to head on over to our posters section and order myself a print of that Charlize poster, because my God, she is stunning!

GRINGO arrives in theaters on March 9th. Don't forget to bring something to mask the weed smell before walking into the theater, after your pre-game toke in the parking lot. Enjoy!
