Hannah John-Kamen given a key role in Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

It's been awhile since we've heard anything buzzworthy (see what I did there) regarding Marvel and Peyton Reed's ANT-MAN AND THE WASP. Today, we've gotten the good word that BLACK MIRROR, GAME OF THRONES, and KILLJOYS actress Hannah John-Kamen has landed a lead role for the sequel to the 2015 comic book smash hit ANT-MAN.

From what we've heard so far, Paul Rudd will return as the adorably funny ex-con-turned-super hero, Ant-Man, in addition to Evangeline Lilly returning for more superheroine hotness while portraying Hope van Dyne aka The Wasp. Furthermore, it's been confirmed that Michael Douglas and Michael Pena are also expected to reprise their roles from the original "size matters" Marvel adventure. Marvel has yet to comment on which character John-Kamen will portray, and honestly, your guess is as good as mine. I know a great deal about Marvel's pantheon of heroes, though I admit that my Ant-Man knowledge is a bit lacking.

The plot fo ANT-MAN AND THE WASP is being kept under wraps for the time being, though I would suspect that we'll be hearing some news once Comic Con season kicks into high gear.

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP will buzz into theaters on July 6, 2018.
