Aquaman gets super-serious poster on the heels of the Justice League tease

So we just got a tease for the upcoming JUSTICE LEAGUE trailer, as well as a poster, now begins the character poster phase. The first one up (who also was the main focus of the trailer tease) is Jason Momoa's "grumpy uncle" Aquaman. Let's take a look:

I mean, it looks fine. The costume is great, I like Momoa in most things, and he certainly looks like the '90s Aquaman with some added flair. But looking cool is not enough, so we'll have to wait and see if the film holds up beyond the visual panache. I'm hoping Zack Snyder delivers (unlike what some people believe, I don't like to hate), but I'm also not holding my breath.

Either way, JUSTICE LEAGUE will fly into theaters November 17th, 2017, while AQUAMAN will swim to theaters in his own solo film December 21st, 2018.
