Jared Leto in talks for Disney’s Tron reboot

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

So, just days after TRON LEGACY director Joseph Kosinski talked about how his TRON: ASCENSION film wasn't dead, and where the third TRON film would go, news drops of a new TRON reboot in the works. Ouch.

Now, there's not much news about the proposed reboot, but The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that none other than Jared Leto will be starring as Ares, a character who was part of the ASCENSION script, but will now be part of a different continuity. And as someone who hated, hated, hated his version of The Joker (did I mention I hated it?), I'm still cautiously optimistic as Leto's been pretty good in other things before. Like when he got punched repeatedly in FIGHT CLUB. So we'll see.

But what do you Schmoes think? You down for more TRON? And do you prefer the reboot idea, or would you prefer if Kosinski got to make TRON: ASCENSION? Either way, sound off below!
