You might want to pack a flashlight for this Devil in the Dark trailer

Ugh! Shadowy, glowing-eyed bunnymen? A creepy-ass kid in a puffy, red parka? Nope, nope, and nope! Back in the day, I used to go camping with my Dad, and after hearing one too many strange and unexplained things that were going bump in the night, I swore off that not-so-leisurely vacationing method for good. Don't get me wrong, I love the outdoors. However, I prefer soaking in a nice mountain vista while sipping a cold beer as opposed to pitching a tent in the mud and praying that bears don't eat my ass alive in the middle of the night. I salute anyone who roughs it up in the woods, and I wish you the very best in not having some mythological creature wear you for a hat after tossing you around like a rag doll for a few hours.

With that, I'd like to present you with this trailer for Momentum Pictures out-in-woods thriller called DEVIL IN THE DARK. In the film, two estranged brothers find themselves being stalked by a terrifying unknown entity while on a weekend hunting trip in remote British Columbia. Directed by Tim Brown and written by Carey Dickson, the film stars Dan Payne, Robin Dunne, Briana Buckmaster, and Daniel Cudmore

I've got a few questions about this film, but the main one is what the hell is Donnie Darko's Frank the Bunny doing all the way out in the British Columbian woodlands? Heh, I know it's not him, but you've got to admit that whatever is stalking these two dudes bears a strong resemblance to the raggedy, rabbit-eared icon of Richard Kelly's mind-bending cult thriller.

Tim Brown's Devil in the Dark is set for a March 7, 2017 release.
