Martin Starr and Logan Marshall-Green sign up for Spider-Man: Homecoming

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Actors have been signed up for SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING left and right, and today we have two new additions to the cast, as well as some very interesting info! So first off, Silicon Valley’s Martin Starr is joining in on Marvel’s web-slinging adventure. No word yet on who he’ll play, but given that it’s been some time since his Freaks and Geeks days, I’d venture to guess that it’s NOT a student. Now this next bit of news is much more interesting…

Logan Marshall-Green (PROMETHEUS) has not only been cast in the film, but every website under the sun is reporting that he’ll be playing one of the villains alongside Michael Keaton. We’ve known that The Vulture would be the primary villain of Homecoming, and most figure that Keaton is a shoe-in for that role, but let’s take a look back at our exclusive scoop we delivered a month ago. You can check out the entire scoop HERE (or watch the video below), but we detailed that The Vulture will be aided by The Tinkerer. Now that we have the two names of the villains, who will be playing who? Could Michael Keaton play second fiddle to Marshall-Green’s Vulture? We’ll find out soon enough!

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING will swing into theaters on July 7, 2017.
