Superman has an intense standoff with Batman in new Batman v Superman clip

During tonight's episode of Gotham, Warner Bros. unveiled a fresh look at BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE in order to amp up excitement for the debut of their brand new DAWN OF JUSTICE trailer. The clip consists of a single scene, no dialogue, but holy hell, is it effective.

We were all intrigued by the sight of Superman (Henry Cavill) flanked by what appeared to be several soldiers with Superman's emblem on their shoulders in the first trailer, and this new clip sheds some light on why Superman seems to be involved with them. There are still so many questions however, like why is Batman being held captive, why are these soldiers bowing down to Superman, and why oh why does Superman look so darn pissed off?! The next new trailer for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE will debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live this Wednesday, December 2nd, at 11:35/10:35 CT.
