Although his likeness has been used on various STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS merchandise, Empire has unveiled the first really good look at Constable Zuvio, the new alien character that will appear in the upcoming J.J. Abrams-directed installment in the sci-fi series.

Take a look:

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Constable Zuvio

Little is known about the character but, judging from this still, it seems he will be based on Jakku, and Lucasfilm has described him as a “tough and humorless vigilant law officer on a mostly lawless world" who "keeps order in a frontier trading post”. The actor playing Zuvio hasn't been announced yet, and there's also no word on how big of a role he'll have in STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS. What are your thoughts on this first look at Constable Zuvio?

STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS will be in theaters on December 18th.
