The BATMAN V SUPERMAN Comic Con trailer certainly caught everyone's attention, and it looks like the star of the show was Batman himself. Ben Affleck is portraying a more seasoned version of the caped crusader and a few quick shots in trailer reveal Batman fighting against an army of troops sporting a Superman badge. Last I checked, Supes don't need no army! How this comes to pass remains to be seen, but we do have an image of the Dark Knight in his desert get-up.

There have been nearly a dozen movies now featuring Batman, so it's nice to see an iteration of him that feels different. Somehow Snyder and Co. have created a Batman that feels real in a world where Superman and Wonder Woman also exist. While Warner Bros.' upcoming DC slate seemed like way too much for them to pull off, judging from this trailer, I think we all have hope that they'll somehow actually be able to do it. If so…too freakin' cool!

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE will hit theaters on March 25, 2016, but you can read up on the recent panel from SDCC here!
