Exclusive Cool Video: Movie CliffsNotes – Training Day!

With Denzel Washington and Antoine Fuqua's THE EQUALIZER opening this week, we take a trip back to the duo's previous team-up, TRAINING DAY in the latest Movie CliffsNotes. Denzel netted an Oscar for his performance as a corrupt cop who takes his new rookie partner, Ethan Hawke, for one hell of ride on his first day as a detective. While the story isn't that complicated, there's plenty of room to have a little fun revisiting this solid cop thriller, which is also one of my all-time favorite flicks. TRAINING DAY was scripted by David Ayer, who went on to make END OF WATCH, SABOTAGE, and the upcoming Brad Pitt WWII movie, FURY.
