We are still a few weeks away from the release of the testosterone-fuelled EXPENDABLES 3 and what better way to turn on the hype machine than a poster release? These characters posters for the movie are drastically different from anything I’ve seen this year in terms of posters; it’s as if they’re teasing a massive paintball match that takes place in the movie. Eat your heart out Andy Warhol. The art posters wil be heading to San Diego Comic-Con this week.

Here’s the synopsis in case you missed it or didn’t believe there as one:

The mercenary group, the Expendables, led by Barney Ross, come face to face with the team's co-founder Conrad Stonebanks. Ross was forced to kill Stonebanks after he became a ruthless arms trader, but Stonebanks survived and has now made it his mission to destroy the Expendables. Ross resorts to recruiting a new and younger generation of Expendables to help the team overcome his old adversary.

If you missed it, you should also check out last week’s Vanity Fair shoot we shared, it’s pretty awesome.

The cast includes Jason Statham, Terry Crews, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Jet Li and Arnold Schwarzenegger, now joined by Wesley Snipes, Kelsey Grammer, Harrison Ford, Ronda Rousey, Kellan Lutz, Antonio Banderas and Robert Davi.

All that muscle hits theaters on August 15 2014.
