Idris Elba plays a major creeper in the trailer for No Good Deed

Idris Elba is one of those actors who can do anything. You could throw him and Bryan Cranston in a room for 2 hours, and I guarantee you my ass will be glued to whatever they do. NO GOOD DEED doesn’t seem to be too far off from that premise (minus the Cranston) as Elba terrorizes a mother and her daughter.

Get creeped out here:

I think the premise can be a tense one (especially with Elba front and center) but I hope they don’t try to cram in too much action. You know the horror movie routine. Woman runs around, grabbing any and everything within arms reach to smash it over the head of her would-be attacker that buys her some time to run into another room just to do it all over again. Don’t do that! Call me curious, as I’d like to think Mr. Elba doesn’t just take on any movie. Or maybe celebrities have bills too. One of those is right.

NO GOOD DEED, starring Idris Elba, Taraji P. Henson and Leslie Bibb, will be released on September 12, 2014.
