I don’t know of anyone that isn’t excited for DUMB AND DUMBER TO, but surely there’s a few. For me, the prospect of capturing that Harry and Lloyd magic in a bottle again is worth every penny, especially with the original team of Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels, and the directing duo of The Farrelly Brothers. While we’ve had plenty of peeks at the group hard at work on the sequel, we now have official word on the film’s release.
DUMB AND DUMBER TO will debut in just under a year from now on November 14, 2014. The synopsis goes like this: “20 years after the dimwits set out on their first adventure, they head out in search of one of their long lost children in the hope of gaining a new kidney.” The pic co-stars the likes of Kathleen Turner, Laurie Holden, Jennifer Lawrence, and Rob Riggle. Mock. Yeah.
Another sequel on the way is the next entry in the INSIDIOUS franchise, INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3. The follow-up is currently being written by Leigh Whannell, who penned the first two films, although director James Wan is not currently set as director. Wan, who has said he woud be retiring from horror, is currently shooting FAST AND FURIOUS 7, but that hasn’t stopped the INSIDIOUS franchise from moving forward.
INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3 is set to scare the crap out of you on April 3, 2015. No announcements on cast or director have been announced as of yet, but the film is now officially on the books with a release date, but with plenty of time to iron out the details.
