A new trailer for RUNNER RUNNER has dropped, breaking it down to rap music, which always seems to be the main source for highlighting pimpalicious behavior (i.e. expensive cars, expensive suits, grand entrances, hot chicks dancing, and champagne glasses clinking). Here we see Justin Timberlake and Batman Ben Affleck going head-to-head like true online gambling badasses…
…right. Well, I guess there are those alligators.

Here's the synopsis:
Princeton grad student Richie, believing he's been swindled, travels to Costa Rica to confront online gambling tycoon Ivan Block. Richie is seduced by Block's promise of immense wealth, until he learns the disturbing truth about his benefactor. When the FBI tries to coerce Richie to help bring down Block, Richie faces his biggest gamble ever: attempting to outmaneuver the two forces closing in on him
It's hard to even look at this film without thinking of Batfleck at the moment. I'm sure that's a big selling point for the studio and may well help get folks out to the theater who would normally skimp on this type of crime thriller. That said, Affleck is solid, Timberlake has proven to be more than just a pretty voice, and Gemma Arterton has certainly got it going on. Even the future Falcon, Anthony Mackie shows up, so there's plenty of attributes to draw in the crowd. I'm sure there will be more rap music, too, so don't worry.
