Exactly one year from today, the 20th of December will be on a Friday and Ron Burgundy will be back in cinemas.  That’s right, folks: ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND CONTINUES on December 20th, 2013.

Paramount may have thought that releasing the news about this release date would placate fans of the first movie, but if any of them are like me then this news only makes things all the worse because now I know just how long I have to wait to see one of cinema’s funniest collection of characters return to the screen.

We’ve already heard all sorts of information and speculation regarding where (and when) the sequel will go, but what are you hoping for? What elements need to be present for ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND CONTINUES to strike an enduring place in the comedic hall of fame you hold in your heart?

Meanwhile, the Arnold Schwarzenegger starrer TEN has also picked up a release date that bears a curious similarity to his upcoming movie THE LAST STAND – the latter releases on January 18th, 2013, while TEN has received the release date of January 24th, 2014TEN, directed by David Ayer (END OF WATCH), centers on “an elite DEA task force that takes on the world’s deadliest drug cartels. When the team successfully executes a high-stakes raid on a cartel safe house, they think their work is done – until, one-by-one, the ten members mysteriously start to be eliminated.”

And in case you missed the first one back in October, here’s another look at Schwarzenegger in full regalia as the leader of the aforementioned DEA task force:
