I never imagined that I would have the chance to type that headline. Yet here I am, just having typed it, with Arrested Development looming on the summer horizon.
The teases for this series’ future have left many of us perpetually blue-balled, but no more ye Arrested faithful – here are two tweets from July 11th to prove that, after all this time, one of the funniest shows ever forged will indeed be returning.
This is no hoax. This is no joke. So break out the bananas, boys and girls – it’s safe now.
Here’s what narrator Ron Howard had to say:

And here’s star Jason Bateman:
“Taken at AD mission control, today! All systems are go. Filming for the new episodes starts in four weeks. Woo!”
