When I say “a Hunger Games reference,” I quite literally mean that the title of the adaptation of the second book in the series is now THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE. It makes sense as the movie’s quality (minus that damn camera work) brought quite a few new audience members into the fold who have not/will not read the books, and so may not know the name of the next installment in the adventures of Katniss and Co.

Now that director Francis Lawrence (CONSTANTINE) has been selected to helm the flick, casting announcements should be rolling out soon as production is set to start in late August with a pre-booked release date of November 22nd, 2013.
