Zooey Deschanel, the twee hipster goddess, has struck gold with her starring role in Fox’s NEW GIRL which seems to be leading the way for similar big screen roles.
Ms. Deschanel is currently in talks to costar in an indie time travel dramedy from Richard Curtis, director of LOVE ACTUALLY. Lots of people hated on LOVE, ACTUALLY, but that movie was the perfect date flick. You could zone out and the girls would just get emotional and you would likely get some.
The plot is described as being about Tim, a young man who comes from a family of time-travelers. When Tim learns of his unique gift from his father, he uses his newfound abilities to change situations for the better.
Zooey is extremely sexy, in a nerdy kind of way. It is to be seen which role she would take in the film, but I would bet money it would be the main love interest. Plus, this gives me the chance to post some photos of her. Enjoy.
