Interview: Man on a Ledge Star Anthony Mackie!

I first took notice of Anthony Mackie as Eminem’s adversary in 8 MILE. Since then, Mackie has taken on a number of roles in films such as HALF NELSON, MILLION DOLLAR BABY, NOTORIOUS and of course his critically acclaimed work in THE HURT LOCKER. Now he steps it up with the action-thriller MAN ON A LEDGE alongside Sam Worthington, Elizabeth Banks, Jamie Bell, Edward Burns and the phenomenally sexy Genesis Rodriguez.

We talked about playing the “audiences eye” in LEDGE and what drew him to the project after the success of THE HURT LOCKER. And while we were at it, the subject of ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER came up. While he wasn’t terribly specific about it he did mention that, “I’ve seen it and it is unlike anything you’ve ever seen in film…” so there you go.
