Greg Kinnear, Alan Arkin and Billy Crudup are on Thin Ice in this new trailer

Today a new poster and trailer for THIN ICE was released. Starring Greg Kinnear as an insurance agent who’s looking to get the hell out of Wisconsin and sees his chance in a priceless violin owned by a farmer played by Alan Arkin. He hires a locksmith (played by a shifty Billy Crudup) to help him steal it and things of course spiral out of control, as you’ll see in the trailer below.

It’s hard not to see a film set in the winter in the midwest about a plan that goes wrong and not think of a certain Coen Bros film, but the talent is definitely there.

THIN ICE has a limited theatrical run on February 17th.
