MGM will try to find Waldo for new film

JoBloJoBlo

Really MGM? You go through all that financial turmoil, and your next move after getting all your other projects back on track is to go ahead and make a WHERE’S WALDO movie?

Yes, this is happening, as MGM President Jonathan Glickman explains:

“We are thrilled to be bringing the search for Waldo to the big screen. Along with our partners at Classic Media, we look forward to making a worldwide adventure that will appeal to Where’s Waldo? fans of all ages.”

Well, there you have it, a family friendly WHERE’S WALDO film is coming. What exactly that entails, I have no idea. Yes, the brand recognition is there, as Waldo is a recognizable face in a crowd, but what exactly was the plot of the dozens of Where’s Waldo books I read as a child? Uhhh, he likes to travel. He’s friends with a wizard. He’s being chased by an evil version of himself who wears opposite colors? He loses articles of clothing frequently? That’s all I’ve got.

So, how is this going to go?
