It’s very rare that somebody impresses me as much as Emily Mortimer does. Her fantastic work in TRANSSIBERIAN and LARS AND THE REAL GIRL really helped prove that she is one of the most gifted talents in film today. In OUR IDIOT BROTHER, she once again shows us how fantastic of an actress she is. I was taken aback by this lovely woman.
When we talked, we spoke about her own experiences as a mother, which she shares with her character Liz. She is such a warm and sweet interviewee, and she was so very open about the challenge of being a mother and facing the real world again.
