Anyway, the above photo was Facebooked by Megan Fox a bit ago, and with it the revelation that Jason Segel was returning to the KNOCKED UP spin-off THIS IS FORTY in some capacity. Fox has a role along with BRIDESMAIDS’ Chris O’Dowd (pictured), and Albert Brooks, Lena Dunham and Wyatt Russell have parts as well.
But if Segel’s back, does that mean the rest of the original cast might be as well? Could we see Martin Starr, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel again? Word has it that Charlyne Yi is coming back, which would imply the rest could be a definite “maybe.”
I have to expect Rogen will make an appearance in some capacity if his friends are. As for Heigl? I’m not so sure. Last time I checked the Apatow boys weren’t too pleased about comments she made regarding how KNOCKED UP “portrayed women.”
