Empire has THE HOBBIT as its next cover story, and to promote that they’re trickling out a few new promo images from the film.
Yes, they’re very, very similar to the ones EW had a little while ago, but for Hobbit fans, anything remotely new is still something to salivate over. We still have Bilbo (Martin Freeman) reading something, but now he’s facing more toward the camera. We also have Gandalf (Ian McKellen) looking wizardly and forlorn. He’s so young, he’s practically Gandalf the Brown!

I’m sure there will be more to see inside the actual issue, but these will have to tide you over for the time being. I’m still waiting for a shot of Evangeline Lily the elf.
