Tomar-Re teaches us Green Lantern 101 in the new trailer

If you’re not that familiar with GREEN LANTERN, this will be the perfect introduction, since the new trailer essentially provides a brief history of the Lantern Corps, the movie’s villain, the selection of Hal Jordan, and a reiteration of the space-traveling superhero’s rhyming motto.

The 3D movie is directed by Martin Campbell (CASINO ROYALE, THE MASK OF ZORRO) and opens on June 17th. Not much else I can tell you that Tomar-Re (voiced by Geoffrey Rush) doesn’t let you know in the trailer below.
