Optimus Prime looks badass in these fake new Transformers posters

From the looks of things, Optimus Prime has two new weapons in TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON and he’s not afraid to use them. Two new banners for the film have hit the web and show off both his massive arm cannon as well as a golden blade you may have glimpsed in the trailers slicing and dicing through bad dudes.

I’m still extremely skeptical about TRANSFORMERS 3 but I’ve liked the look of everything we’ve seen so far. And that includes Optimus Prime sharing a dramatic moment with Frances McDormand. But I liked a good deal of what I saw on REVENGE OF THE FALLEN and that was a disaster. If DARK OF THE MOON fails, especially after all the, “We know PART 2 sucked so we’re making it up to you with this one…” talk, it might be time to write off Michael Bay as a filmmaker. Take a look at the posters below and see what you think.

[UPDATE: As mentioned below in the comments, the first poster shown below is fake. A pretty good fake but the tipoff is that The Fallen, who is most certainly not returning for DARK OF THE MOON, is hiding in the background. The second poster does appear to be a real, international Imax poster for the film.]

[2ND UPDATE: Was a little skeptical about the second poster, did some digging and found out that it, too, is a fan creation.]
