Trailer after trailer I’m still not quite sure what to make of DJ Caruso’s I AM NUMBER FOUR, but I think I’m at least at the point now where I’ll go see it out of curiosity. I’ve liked his previous few films (yes, even EAGLE EYE), and this might be worthwhile as well.
The “aliens on the run” intro is something we’ve seen from previous spots, but there’s a lot more going on here, and we get to see the intergalactic baddies chasing Jason Stackhouse lookalike Alex Pettyfer, and also another numbered alien shows up in the form of the female Number Six, who can shoot plasma balls or something.
