Concept art from J.J. Abrams and Bryan Singer’s cancelled Superman films revealed

JoBloJoBlo

ComicBookMovie.com has come across a few pieces of Superman concept art. Nothing, of course, as weird as what we would’ve likely seen with Tim Burton’s aborted SUPERMAN LIVES, but cool nonetheless.

The images of Supes himself on this page are all concepts that came from the thankfully failed J.J. Abrams-scripted 2002 project known as SUPERMAN FLYBY. The image directly below, however, is that of villain Doomsday, and is an early concept of the Man of Steel’s foe taken from director Bryan Singer’s unrealized sequel to his own SUPERMAN RETURNS. Would’ve loved to see that.
