Wednesday had some pretty good late-night viewing for movie fans — not only did Joaquin Phoenix appear on David Letterman to come clean about his I’M STILL HERE antics, but happy horror maestro Guillermo del Toro sat down at the table with Stephen Colbert.
The filmmaker’s appearance on “The Colbert Report” was largely to promote his writer half — del Toro just released his second vampire book “The Fall”, the follow-up to “The Strain” with co-writer Chuck Hogan. While the interview was all too brief, he did get a chance to talk a bit about his favorite subject: monsters.
