Woody gets with the times in new Toy Story 3 clips

It didn’t seem like audiences stampeded to theaters for the return of SHREK (in 3D). Will they feel differently about Buzz Lightyear, Woody and the rest of Pixar’s playthings in TOY STORY 3? (Hope so, since I put the movie at the top on the JoBlo summer box office contest!)

Our favorite sentient plastic beings will be in theaters again soon, but for now these new spots highlight the disparity between the “toys” of today and those introduced on-screen so long ago — all the way back in the mid-90s. We didn’t even have iPods then, golly!
