Another early promo poster has been found at Cannes today. Earlier we gave you the comedic side of horror with a poster for BURKE & HARE.
Now a poster for a film that represents the not so funny side…
This one is for Darren Lynn Bousman’s remake of MOTHER’S DAY strays away from the blood and gore. It’s just simply Rebecca De Mornay as the manipulative Mother holding a gun starring terrifyingly into your eyes.
The film is loosely based on the 1980’s original and is produced by Brett Ratner.
Official synopsis:
“After a bank robbery gone wrong, three Brothers head home…only to discover that their Mother lost the house in a foreclosure. The new owners and their guests, gathered for an ill-timed birthday party, becoming the Brothers’ unwitting hostages. Their Mother and Sister arrive, and it soon becomes obvious that Mother will do absolutely do anything to protect her children. In one terrifying evening, Mother brilliantly takes control and masterminds’ her sons escape. Sides will be taken, secrets revealed, and sins punished as the hostages struggle to make it through the night.”
