There seems to be a desire by the producers to flush out some of the characters who haven’t really had a spotlight on them before IRON MAN 2 hits in two weeks. Yesterday, we heard a bit from Sam Rockwell’s Justin Hammer and now, Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow speaks, for what I believe is the first time in any trailer or clip.
The scene takes place in a boxing ring, and Stark is looking over her resume with Pepper as she spars with Jon Favreau in the gym. Of course he would make his cameo with Scarjo, wouldn’t you?
One thing to note, from what I can tell Black Widow does NOT have a Russian accent, but please, did you really think she was going to? I’m sure they’ll have some BS ready to explain that away (“She can perfectly master any language in a week!”).
