Zach Galifianakis, whose profile has undoubtedly grown thanks to a great and hilarious part in last year’s THE HANGOVER, will now try his hot hand at… “supernatural comedy”?
According to ShockTillYouDrop while at a screening event for THE CRAZIES, producer Michael Aguiler said that Galifianakis is attached to a script for a film called MIRACLE WORKERS.
The story “is a buddy supernatural comedy in which the actor is put on a path that has him posing as an exorcist with a pal. The two think they’ve got a good thing going until they’re faced with a real menace.”
No director is currently attached, though one is expected to jump aboard soon. Galifianakis has a bunch of stuff in the works, including DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS, DUE DATE, IT’S KIND OF A FUNNY STORY, and PUSS IN BOOTS (as the voice of Humpty Dumpty). He’ll next be seen in ROGUES GALLERY due out later this year.
