Jonah Hill’s Sundance comedy Cyrus gets a trailer

JoBloJoBlo

If I were going to Sundance this year, one of the films I’d be most looking forward to is the John C. Reilly/Jonah Hill comedy CYRUS. Directed by Mark and Jay Duplass, the film stars Reilly as a lonely guy who falls in love with the seemingly perfect woman (Marisa Tomei) only to find that she has a grown son (Hill) who’s a bit strange.

The trailer for CYRUS is online today and it’s not quite as funny as I expected it to be. I guess the mistake is going in thinking this will be like STEP BROTHERS 2 or something when it’s something else entirely. From what I understand, even though the film is comedic, it’s not entirely a comedy. What do you think? Our man Chris Bumbray is in Sundance and will have this thoughts on the flick soon…
