With Halloween quickly approaching, it’s the time of year when Halloween lists and suggestions are coming at you fast and furious. Just this week the AITH writers and Arrow and Eric Red offered up their picks for what to watch this Halloween. So I wouldn’t pass another list along if it wasn’t by the man Martin Scorsese.
Scorsese sat with Daily Beast and gave them a list of his 11 Scariest Horror Movies. If you’re looking for FRIDAY THE 13TH or HALLOWEEN, you’ll have to look elsewhere. Scorsese is more interested in classics like THE HAUNTING and THE UNINVITED. That’s not to say there aren’t some favorites in there. THE SHINING, THE EXORCIST and PSYCHO all made the list. If you’re looking for something different to give yourself the chills this Halloween, check this list out and then update your Netflix queue.
